sufi music
i've heard this a few times now:
gaudi - sufani
nice and trippy - makes me think of what nusrat fateh ali khan might have done with a copy of reason....
...note also the harmonic shift vii/i a la strawberry fields etc - always love it!

File under: fingerpicking
Donovan - Wandering Aengus
I'm thinking - Donovan? But it's a great example of arpeggiated fingerpicking. So there.

New direction
OK so I need a miracle or something to keep straight in my wanderings all the cool electronic music I either hear or produce myself.
Hence the re-purposing of JP Tracks.
If you're a bike advocate in JP and you subscribed to my RSS last fall, I'm sorry. But hey - I think I'm dealing with an audience of possibly two or three people here. My apologies.
Pandora, Twitter, Facebook - you all let me down when it comes to stashing information like this. I'm tired of emailing myself artist and track titles. I'll put 'em here. Also expect crib notes, shout outs, frustrations etc from my own productions.
Listening log note for the day:
Slow tempo version of Toca's Miracle - Fragma - ref: http://www.xtcfm.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=461
